Create Communities
HOOPT lets you build a private space for real connection around what you love—travel, food, books, films, and more. As the key holder, you set the tone. With shared collections, messaging, and seamless collaboration, your group becomes a living network—built to grow with you.

Go to the Connections tab and tap on New Group.

Add a Community Name. Write a short description about your community’s purpose.

Choose a custom @CommunityID. If your preferred name is taken, select from the suggested available names. Tap Create Community.

Our AI Assist feature will generate an unique cover photo for your community. You can also upload an image from your gallery or use Unsplash to choose.

Your community is all set up! Share the invite link with friends and start engaging!

Cool Tip
Only HOOPT+ subscribers are able to create and host communities. Your invited community members do not need to be a HOOPT+ subscriber.
