Create Communities
HOOPT lets you create and host your own community where members can connect, share, and collaborate around common interests and passions. Whether it's travel, food, books, or movies, HOOPT communities go beyond just sharing: you get a private messaging platform, the ability to curate and interact with collective common items, and much more. As the community key holder, you have the power to shape the culture and foster meaningful interactions among your members.

Go to the Connections tab and tap on New Group.

Add a Community Name. Write a short description about your community’s purpose.

Choose a custom @CommunityID. If your preferred name is taken, select from the suggested available names. Tap Create Community.

Our AI Assist feature will generate an unique cover photo for your community. You can also upload an image from your gallery or use Unsplash to choose.

Your community is all set up! Share the invite link with friends and start engaging!

Cool Tip
Only HOOPT+ subscribers are able to create and host communities. Your invited community members do not need to be a HOOPT+ subscriber.
